Objectives; the purpose of Linwood Active will be to reduce social isolation and increase community participation. 

• regenerate existing or provide new play facilities in Linwood
• identify and address environmental improvement needs to enhance the physical appearance of Linwood
• promote the use of open spaces around Linwood for recreational and educational purposes
• consult with and seek the views of the local community on any planned changes and improvements to the local environment
• work in partnership with Renfrewshire Council, community groups and other statutory and voluntary organisations to achieve these objectives.

We feel there are other tasks that Linwood Active can achieve in the short term for example, on the 22nd of October we had a very successful ‘Riverside Walk’ clean up in conjunction with Linwood Sucks, SEPA and Environmental Health.
