The Battle Of Linwood Bridge "Part 2" - 2008/08/16 13:59
After reading the editor's piece of the battle on the linwood bridge in 1776, i then looked towards the battle of the other linwood bridge in 2008.
232 years later and it is the same story, same weapons (if not more as pointed out by bobby, some are using saws  ). I am in fact talking about the bridge that crosses the A737 coming too the cycle path beside kintyre ave.
The neds/LYT/LTC whatever they call themselves get a few cans into themselves and think they can take on the world, if this was the case, do they not think we could supply them with a case of cans and let them loose in iraq - afgan and help out our boys get the job done, I DOUBT IT VERY MUCH.
So what can be done too solve this problem - i have a list as long as my arm but the MP's,Police and Govt say it is now wrong too hit kids when they have done something wrong,THIS IS WERE IT WENT VERY VERY VERY WRONG.
Too help with the problem of the kids getting drunk, the Police should be looking towards the shops that sell the alcohol in the first place, I.E.- top shops and The Local, these shops items have been found in what i would call "Buckfast Alley" under the bridge beside the Johnstone Hospital.If nothing is done this problem is going too go on and on and on and on, as bobby said "DO SOMETHING BEFORE SOMEONE GETS HURT OR EVEN KILLED."
I wonder if these "neds/LYT/LTC/lovely kids" would still be as big and hard when they have too go too woodside crematorium because one of there friends has been killed, they probably go for looking for the person who is responsible then we have a catch 22. WHEN WILL IT STOP.
So who is reposible for this sorry state - I believe everyone!, by everyone i mean from the lovely kids/neds, Their Parents, Police, Local Council.
As from early age kids know the right and wrongs have a brain in their heads too make a choice"hopefully the right choice", when they fight the parents of the youngters who's area they have invaded need too be removed out of their "safe zone" back indoors because of these "lovely kids"
The parents too take more of intrest in what their "lovely kids" are doing or why they have came home "p*ssed as a newt",instead of not bothering at all.
The Police who when they get a call out too a "battle" come flying in with blues and two's going watch the offenders scattering like rabbits and then just sit in there cars/vans, for the first time in years i have now heard that the police have actually caught 7 of these lovely kids and reported them too the PF via the childrens panel.
The Local Council - if they stop wasting the money come the end of the year and pouring the surplus money into stupid ideas, they should put it into the kitty and come out with better ideas too spend the money on, I.E. - safer areas for the kids too play in, youth groups for the older kids getting them off the streets and the booze and get their lifes in order before it is far too late for them.
Some ideas have been too bring back national service, that might be a good idea but might also be seen as going back the way instead of forwards
Just a selection of problems with
a list of answers but the community need too act as one and working thru these problems
